Find hope, purpose, and community at Julia Street CMC Church.
Originally built in 1891, was a small white frame church with a belfry and a steeple. The bell was heard around the small town of Boaz for not only for services to begin, but also clapped for deaths or fires in town. In 1917, the present brick building replaced the wooden building. After talk of disposing of the bell, the church was renamed after Mrs. Julia Ann Street in 1943 after stating "A bell is the voice of the church to the community".
At Julia Street CMC, we are committed to serving our community and sharing the love of Christ. We believe that everyone is welcome in our church, and we strive to create a safe and inclusive space for all people.
We offer a variety of ministries and programs for all ages, including youth groups, Bible studies, and outreach programs. Our ministries are designed to help our members grow in their faith and serve others in our community.
